Bundesliga, Week 17. Winter-Pause!

Bayer Leverkusen 0-3 Nürnberg

What exactly happended here?! Bayer had all important players healthy, while Nürnberg were missing Timothy Chandler. Nürnberg scored in the 9th minute and Bayer never recovered. Another goal for Nürnberg on a corner kick in the 22nd minute. Finally they sealed the win with a 73rd minute goal. Amazing!

Freiburg 1-4 Borussia Dortmund

It was the day of Robert Lewandowski. The Polish international netted two goals. The opener came just seven minutes in, with Lewandowski tapping in a goal after a great pass from Shinji Kagawa. BVB kept the control in the second half with goals from Gündogan, Grosskreutz and Lewandowski with his second.

Bayern Munich 3-0 1. FC Köln

The game was notable mainly for a ludicrous red card sustained by Franck Ribery in the first half. The hosts dominating against a Köln side who could barely get out of their own half. Finally in the 48th minute, when an awful pass out of the back by Pedro Geromel left Thomas Mueller free down the right, Mario Gomez simply slipped the targetman the ball for a tap-in to make it 1-0.  Before too long it was 2-0. David Alaba taking advantage of a poor corner kick defence to score from two yards out. Toni Kroos finished with a nice goal as the clock was running down.

3-0 for Munich!

Schalke 5-0 Werder Bremen

It took just 16 minutes for Raul to give Schalke the lead, and just another four minutes for him to double it. Werder didn't really threaten the Schalke goal for the rest of the half. 2:0 after the first half. Raul completed his hat trick in the 63rd minute with a header. Kyriakos Papadopoulos added one with a header in the 67th minute aswell. Huntelaar completed the rout in the 70th minute.

Some interesting and suprising matches! Schalke go third. Bayer Leverkusen fall apart. Bayern Munich keep the lead.
A long winter-pause waiting for us. :(
